The Celtic Horse

This haunting and fine-looking being represented victory in war. The Celtic pony supernatural being called Epony (from the Gaulish workd ‘epos’ significance pony or the ‘Great Mare’) was understood to accompany the soul of demotions the on its last legs on its most recent and closing journey Ajax's to the ‘Other World’ (Spirits and Gods). She was so abundantly worshipped that the Romans built a temple to her.
