Basically, they are colored paper lanterns made with wire and colored paper. You unfold the lotus petals into whatever shape you like, light the little tea-light in the middle and let ‘em float.
Buncha things I really like about ‘em:
They're reusable. The tea-light will burn for hours and hours. Just put a new tea-light in the little holder and use the Lotus Lantern again.
They're new and have a definite cool factor. Not many people have seen or used these before. You WILL be the first on your block.
They're versatile. Use them in swimming pools, ponds, lakes, rivers, bays, even the ocean, if it's still.
They're elegant. They will add a special touch to any evening affair. My girlfriend steals them from me, because she likes how romantic they are. (And I thought it was me!) When we cook out, she surrounds the table and our grilling area with them.
We only got a few of these in from China, because I wanted to see what you think of them, before we stock them permanently.
